In vitro and In vivo studies by NuLiv
Compounds, including Bio markers, in NuLiv Science's OsteoSine™, have been studied in an accelerated bone loss (estrogen deficient) model and in a decreased bone formation (none gender or age-dependent) model.(1) (2).
In the accelerated bone loss model, the changes of bone turnover rate caused by lack of female hormone were studied (1) (2). In the decreased bone formation model, the bone matrix formation, bone Calcium and Phosphate contents, bone mineral density, bone length and radius were studied. The effect of one compound on osteoblast proliferation compared to an Ipriflavone and a control group was studied (1) (2).
